Surface Mount Transforners

Many Beta MIL-STD-1553 pulse transformers are available in surface mount (SM) configurations. In addition, many of our custom transformers can be manufactured with leads for mounting on SM boards. Recognizing that Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is fast becoming the most popular method for electronic component attachment, Beta offers customers purchasing our surface mount transformers, the option to have us attach their transformers and all other SM components to a customer-provided board, for a small additional charge. At Beta, we solder-screen surface mount boards, with pitches as small as 0.015" on center, using our stencil printer; precisely place the components with our automated surface mount assembler; and complete the assembly using our convection reflow oven.
