Bohemia, New York (July 20, 2006) Beta Transformer Technology Corporation (BTTC), a leader in Military and High Reliability Aerospace Magnetics, is proud to announce a new addition to its product line, the MPT Series 400 HZ Mini Power Transformer (MPT). This compact transformer is designed and manufactured to meet the rugged requirements of MIL-PRF- 27 for use in high-reliability aerospace and military applications. The MPT series is the solution when size and cost reduction are major factors. With MIL-PRF-27 Class S and Grade 5 construction, MPTs are available in an extensive range of standard output voltages, offering power levels from 2.0W to 9.0W, and primary voltages of 115V or 26V. Toroidal construction facilitates the MPT’s reduced size and minimized EMI.

Exceptional flexibility is the signature feature of the MPT series. It can be customized for surface-mount configurations, non-standard voltages, and split secondary windings. The MPT’s small footprint and minimized size render it ideal for cost- and space-efficient system layouts. An operating temperature range of –55° to +130° and rugged environmental conditioning further enhance optimization and adaptability.
